PLEASE PLAN AHEAD! Most DDP exams must ARRIVE to the DDP office by the FIRST day of finals. Please allow three business mailing days for the exam to arrive in Pullman.

EXAM PROCTORING HOURS - NO EXCEPTIONS
Tuesday - Thursday: 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Friday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday: Closed
Exams must be completed within these time frames. The library cannot remain open to accommodate a student who has not completed an exam. Hours may vary during intersessions, certain holidays and semester breaks.

WRITING PORTFOLIO EXAM INFORMATION
Library staff cannot answer questions in regards to the WPE. Please direct all questions in regards to the WPE to Kelly Erickson: 509.372.7342
Exam proctoring hours are the same as for all other exams.
No appointments are needed to take a WPE in the library.
Please note the following in regards to the WPE:
- You need a blue or black ink pen. Non-erasable and no pencils.
- No scratch paper.
- You may use a stand alone dictionary.
- You have a maximum of two hours to complete the WPE.
If the WPE is taken Monday-Thursday, the hold is released within 24 hours. If the WPE is taken Friday or Saturday, the hold is released the following Monday.
Once the WPE and the papers packet is completed, you may check the writing portfolio board in the west building for the next assessment dates.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I access and fill out the proctor nomination form? Please call the DDP office directly and they will assist you. Library staff cannot answer questions in regards to requesting an exam or other class specific issues.
How do I know if my exam has arrived at the library?
IF you are listed in the WSU directory, an email from wsutctestproctoring@yahoo.com will be sent to your WSU email account.
How long does the library keep my WSU exam on file?
In accordance with WSU DDP policy, the library keeps the exam on file for one year.
May I request more than one exam at a time?
Yes.
Does WSU DDP require a specific proctor name in order to send an exam to the library?
No. Please complete the form as shown above.
Does the library proctor exams from universities other than WSU?
Yes. If your school requires a specific proctor name, please send an email to:
How long does it take for my completed exam to get back to the DDP office?
The completed exam is returned to the DDP office the following day if it is taken Monday through Thursday. If the exam is taken Friday or Saturday, it is sent back to the DDP office on the following Monday. The exam generally will arrive at the DDP office within three business days. However, it can take up to two weeks.
Can you fax my exam back to the testing office or instructor?
We are unable to fax exams. Please allow enough mailing time.
If I drop a class do I need to inform the library?

May I turn in paperwork associated with the Writing Portfolio exam to the library staff?
No. Any writing portfolio paperwork needs to be turned in to Kelly Erickson.
